What did your loved ones say about you working with Lopez?

Alex: A couple of my mates are like, “She’s so hot! You get to kiss her!” But more of my American friends made a big deal about it. Celebrities are so much more of a real thing in the US.

So what was she like to kiss?

Alex: It was really weird because [her husband] Marc Anthony is a friend. It’s weird making out with someone who’s not your partner in front of cameras and people. I’m not one of those people that gets joy from it.

What’s your back-up plan?

Alex: I don’t have one. I’ve always had faith in my original plan. There have been times when I have doubted myself and my decisions, but then I go, “No, dude, you’re on track.” I thought I was going to be an actor when I was 9 and then I forgot about it and did a lot of other things. I worked in restaurants and wanted to become a chef. But I came back to the acting, I love it so much.

My Thoughts

  • Alex the chef – that could have been interesting and tasty to experience. But for that you most probably would have had to travel to a restaurant somewhere in Oz. Lucky for us he became an actor and now the whole world can enjoy him and his talent and of course his own tastiness …. 😛

A chef! Who knew? I’d love to see him play a chef in a movie or show… 🙂

    • That is a good idea – him in an apron and nothing else, that fits my fantasies 😛
He once worked as a barman and waiter for Neil Perry (who is an Australian chef, restaurateur, author and television presenter.) That must have been the time when he thought of pursuing a career as a chef.

Alex as chef–how orgasmic is that?! Just think of the breakfasts-in-bed he could make for you!

But seriously, in other interviews he’s talked about his spaghetti and that making the tomato sauce takes time, his liking of garlic shrimp, that his sister is a “gypsy chef”, and Holly said he makes a mean omelet I believe. I think he may have gone down the chef road quite well.

I love a man who can cook and if he should happen to be “Tasty Alex?”
All the better for me. 😛
With all the cooking shows and competitions combined with Alex’s good looks who’s to say he would have remained undiscovered as a chef in OZ if he had pursued that career?
