Alex O’Loughlin: “Your ass is on fire!”

Okay, Alex might have said in one of the interviews we posted recently that he avoided touching J.Lo’s butt while filming The Back-Up Plan. (Link to inteview with Brad Blanks)

But it seems that he did not mind slapping it a bit  😛

Reporter: Now a lot is made of the famous JLo behind. You got closer than most. Tell us what’s it really like. Alex: You’re asking me to talk about Jennifer’s bottom? Uhm … [laughs] I don’t know what to tell you. She’s, she’s, she’s a fine young woman. I’m not … I’m not going to talk about [laughs] I’m not going to talk about her bottom.

This comes from the “She glow’s” featurette of ‘The Back-Up Plan’. The video is compiled from short clips of how the cast felt about Jennifer. We did the transcript of the parts of what Alex said and the footage clips, in the featurette, are from the filming of the “First date” scene in the garden.

Alex: The thing is with Jennifer, is that, she is so fearless. She’s never worried about how she looks or how she’s going to be perceived. She goes in with complete reckless abandon. And delivers this comedy as straight as possible. And that’s why she’s so funny, and I think so successful.

Alex: Jen is awesome to work with. Not only for me and the other actors, but for everybody. She’s so much fun. She brings a real sense of life to the set.

Alex as Stan: “I’m not being fresh, but your ass is on fire”
Jennifer as Zoe: “What?”
Alex as Stan: “Your ass is on fire!”

Brad: What about the unbelievable question that I’m about to ask you? What is it like to touch Jennifer Lopez’s butt? Alex: [Laughs] I was very careful not to, mate. To be honest, you know.

Jennifer: It’s funny. Let me do it!
Alex: I let you have some. I gave you some.

Alex: I forget my lines a lot of the time, because I have so much fun watching her, have so much fun.

Jennifer: It’s been a lot of fun. It’s been a really happy, positive, fun comedy set.

PS. So in the end I think we caught Mr O’Loughlin with his pants on fire …. you know, “liar, liar, pants on fire” 😛 Maybe that famous J.Lo-booty was just too tempting and Alex did get carried away with it for a while 😉 And that’s just one more thing to love about him – he will always be a naughty boy and a fun person to be around with.
