First of all – Happy Mother’s Day to those around the world who celebrate it today!!
Most of this week’s pictures are not my favourites. They were taken from far away and when cropped, to show Alex up close, they become very grainy. But we are glad for any pictures that we get to see of him and at least we saw how Alex enjoyed his life during this period!

- Nearly 25 months after the filming of Hawaii Five-0 ended. (Yes, that was a year ago already)
I also believe that this next article was the most important news in regard to Alex’s career in the past 3 years. It did not say much, but it also said a lot in the greater scheme of things. Signing with an additional agent/manager at that time showed that Alex was ready to continue with his career. It would have no use to sign for something like that if Alex had no intention of continuing on in the entertainment industry.

Deadline writes: “Former top ICM talent and literary agent John Burnham, who left earlier this month to become a manager and partner at Atlas Artists and Atlas Literary, has signed Alex O’Loughlin as a client. This marks a reunion for the duo. Burnham represented O’Loughlin for years as an agent and facilitated the actor’s casting as the lead of CBS’ Hawaii Five-0 reboot, which ran for 10 seasons.”
There was no new picture with the article mentioned above and I therefore used a picture of Alex closest to it (June 2022). And it is also a picture that I love – A happy and relaxed Alex with the first signs that he stopped colouring his hair.

We are unsure when this picture was taken (but we suspect somewhere in 2021 or maybe even 2020).
Although the picture was only posted in February this year, it must have been at a time during the pandemic when masks were still worn because Alex is carrying one in his hand. And it also looks like Alex was still colouring his hair at that stage. The picture was part of a collage video on Instagram by Kaipu Kaahanui Seales who is a crew member in film and TV productions.

Thank you, FOYeur, for bringing Alex to the present day so nicely. Sometimes I dream that one day soon, your post will be THE POST. It will be casual, just a plain post, as if this silence and agony had been the normal thing to expect from our man. We fans will provide the celestial music and fireworks as we read it. Maybe Handel’s Hallelujah at full blast, but I have other options.
In the meantime, you know what? All in all, I’m glad Alex is not working at the moment. He was greatly affected by a writers ’strike back in 2007, and it would be tough on him to go through another strike yet again. So, all is well, and your lines in red are not only a reminder, but a real morale booster as well! Thank you!

I totally love the picture(s) Ross Halfin took. Alex looks happy and relaxed and makes me think, how awesome it would be seeing him in a music movie again. Brown leather jacket, guitar, a little bit naughty… hi Alex, I’m in!
Another note: a few days ago I saw a documentary about art, artists (da Vinci’s Last Supper, statues…) and it was all about the so called ‘golden ratio’, ‘divine proportion’ layout of great art. It had all to do with the Fibonacci sequence and all comes down to the relation 1,618 if I remember right. And they said one can find this in faces, not only painted (Mona Lisa) but in real one’s too. It is the relation eye to eye, nose to mouth…
And now I know why I’ve always been so drawn to Alex nose/mouth proportion. If you remember, Paula and FOYeur I talked about it once in a while, lol, but now I am sure it’s the divine proportion. Someone should measure it, it’s 1,618. Science agrees with me! :-))

Wow! You’ve got a Bachelors ‘s degree in Fine Arts or what?
I haven’t the faintest idea about what to do with the relation 1,618, but I don’t mind spending hours studying Alex pictures and measuring the distance from eye to eye, nose to mouth, ear to ear, or lips to Eustachian tubes, and try to make the results fit the Fibonacci sequence. Though I am convinced that Alex’s face has divine proportions without having to measure it.
On the other hand, who cares if he has not divine proportions? To me, he is divine all over, golden ratio or not!! 😍😍😍

And when they explained that sometimes there are these proportions in real faces too and talked about the nose mouth relation I thought “ha, you’re not weird, you’re a scientist”. LOL. 😉
