Sometimes I wonder why I am still amazed at the fact that people do not read the text that accompanies a picture before they very loudly give their comments and opinions. For example, we have had some complaints about posting a picture of Alex with a mask – when the mask was a gift by the original poster of the picture 3 years ago. And in my opinion, the mask tells the story of what we all had to deal with back in 2020 – whether you are a regular person or a celebrity, we were all affected, With these posts, we are recreating Alex’s story of the past 3 years.
AND, even with the mask, one can still be enthralled by Alex’s beautiful eyes!! And wonder about the pencil stuck behind his ear?

– Egan posted a video of Alex doing his work out routine.
Alex:“What’s up, guys. It’s Alex O’Loughlin here. I just did one of coach Egan’s insane workouts. It’s so good. He totally nailed me with it. And listen, he is giving free online classes for the rest of this week. So if you haven’t already, jump on – do some free classes.”

At the time when we first saw the picture, we did not know where Alex was going. But later on, we saw some footage of Beulah on the wildlife adventure and when new pictures were posted the whole story made more sense.

– Alex did an interview with his young friends from PacBleu (which they only post in January 2021)
Alex: “I think this period of time, because I have been working so long, really without breaks. This time has been kind of like a healing time for me. Like it’s been great to just do nothing and just focus on the kids and Malia and myself as well. And just kind of get quiet. Read a lot of books. I have been reading a lot of books and reading other people’s scripts. And just sort of they to see, because I don’t know what’s next …. I don’t know … I don’t just want to jump on something next. You got to be careful what you do next. I don’t know if I’m going to do anything next. I don’t know. So it’s .. I’m a little kind of in no man’s land. You caught me in a transitional period of my life“

According to what we could gather, this picture that we used as a header, was taken on Alex and Beulah’s arrival in Seattle for the Wildlife Adventure course on 21 September 2020.
Once again, it was an interview with Alex that helped us to understand more about this period of time in his life. Alex actually told us what he was doing. He was working on scripts and he was also reading scripts while spending much-needed time with his young family.
“I got like three scripts that I am playing with a little bit. And three … They are three very, very different stories. And, one’s a television script and two are films. They are not at any point worth …. they are not developed enough to share right now.”
In other words, he was working – not just wondering what to do next …
PS. The header picture was shared by Melanie Nua Buckner – and it looks like it was taken on Alex and Beulah’s arrival in Seattle on 21 September 2020 – on their way to the Wildlife adventure.
Alex O´Loughlin ~ An Intense Study 
Do one need to undestand why people complain about seeing Alex wearing a mask – in a pandemic? There have been people who rejected wearing a mask at all and maybe some don´t like the message given through the blue mask (more people who would support that message over here in Germany, please!). Anyway: It was good to see Alex being allowed to travel again and having “fun” on a survival trip with friends – although I wonder, how sleeping on a hard ground can be fun when you are not 18 anymore? 😎 (no offence intended. I´m partly talking about myself since my back would kill me today if I tried to do what I did when I was 16+). But I´m sure, Alex loved being in the wilderness and being allowed to travel again. He seems to love being outside since he was a young boy back in Australia.
And I had a good laugh watching Isabella´s video. Her “famous uncle” seems to be a big kid sometimes ❤ and a goofball, too. 🙂 "Poor" Malia. Having to keep up with 3 kids. 😉

Yeah as it is for health and safety that you wore a mask at the time. BTW when is Alex coming back on TV as it has been three years and he has in the no word on coming back to TV yet. But that he is now living full time in Hawaii like his predecessor the late Jack Lord.

Yes, Alex bought a house in Hawaii in 2011 and he and his family live there. Over the years he proclaimed many times that he has no intention of his family leaving Hawaii and that he will travel for work.
You say there is “no word” about anything. If you read the post above, you will see that I mentioned that Alex said he was writing and reading scripts at the time. Many things happen behind the scenes before actors find a new show or film.
A year ago Alex signed with an additional agent/manager. That shows that he is still working behind the scenes to find a new project – and a new project might not necessarily be on TV or as an actor.
Jack stayed on there because he was 60 at the time and it seems that he decided to retire from acting at the time.

They don’t even bother reading the caption but feel the need bothering others with their dumb, stupid, respectless, you name it, conclusion. Ugh.
But when I get in a bad or better in a unladylike mood muttering ‘dumb people, so many idiots’ I watch the reel with Alex and his niece or the ‘twitch twitch’ video and my mood improves. I think this man is designed to improve my mood.
And yes, his eyes in the masked picture, just wow. So thank you for these awesome crops and close-ups, Paula. “Mr DeMille, Alex is ready for his close-up.” He doesn’t need words, he has a face.

There’s no doubt about it he does improve my mood…..big time. I have my all time favorite pic of him and it is my saving grace on many occasions. Somedays a little chat and others just quiet time. Amazing the effect he brings about that calms and soothes me.🥰
My heart goes out to him though as he navigates what and where the future may lie. I hope he finds that right thing he needs and wants that will bring his many talents back to us. I’d certainly love to ooooh and aaaah so to speak at seeing him on tv or big screen again.♥️
