Seeing these pictures of Alex all in chronological order of time over the past 4 weeks, paints a better picture of the last 3 years, than just seeing random pictures of Alex without context. Three more days to go and then we have completed the 29 events that we could report on, for this period. But they are just mere moments in a span of 36 months and of course, they do not paint a whole picture of his life.
We depend upon friends and fans to post pictures, and because of that, it will show only specific parts of Alex’s life. Many of his friends do BJJ with him and that may lead some people to think that that is all of Alex’s life now. Such pictures will not show us how Alex is maybe writing, reading scripts, negotiating for roles, and any form of career activity. Only when they are in production, will we get to hear of any projects and see them happening.
What I am trying to say, is that fans keep on saying that Alex should start thinking of getting back on screen …. not thinking about the rest of his time we know nothing about, where he might probably be hard at work doing just that!

– Egan Inoue’s induction into the Hawaiian Sports Hall of Fame and of course #AlexOLoughlin was there to support him. (And yes, it was the first look at Alex without a cap and with his now natural colour hair)

– Alex O’Loughlin, clearly in excellent physical shape and getting quite emotional about it, received his Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Black Belt from Renzo Gracie in Las Vegas.

– With such a broad smile it looks like #AlexOLoughlin had a wonderful time in his garage gym, while doing some BJJ rolls with Professor Mario Sergio Yokoyama, the Head instructer from MyBJJ in Sydney.

– Some Aussie Fans ran into #AlexOLoughlin and his wife Malia in Hawaii.
Michelle Ebert writes: “Firstly though I want to let everyone know that the gentleman in the photo with me is the Australian Actor Alex O’Loughlin who played Steve McGarrett in Hawaii 5 0. As my family knows I am totally obsessed with the show. I could not believe that he was at a shop when we walked past. He was not bothered at all when I asked for a photo which is lovely considering he was just out shopping with his wife. This has made my whole holiday and the cruise hasnt even started.”

Well, to me, it’s obvious that Alex’s life is limited to BJJ. How can you explain that the only glimpses of his present life are always related to BJJ if not? If he were busy with something else, there would be constantly a TV crew filming him at home when he’s writing, studying a script, or busy on his keyboard negotiating an offer, and recording his phone conversations with his agent.
Conclusion: he’s doing nothing at all except BJJ. So, abandon all hope ye who crave his return to showbusiness.
Simple, isn’t it?

No it’s not that simple. Alex keeps his private life just that, private. That’s why most of what we see is BJJ. Those are the most public things he lets people see, at least for now. We don’t know that he’s working on anything or that he’s not. As far as I know, he’s never had tv crews filming him at home, no matter what he’s done. Your assumption that any of that happens is probably very far from the truth. He keeps that side of his life private, as he should. When he decides what he’s going to do, if he chooses to let the public in on it, he will. So your conclusion is yours, but it’s certainly not mine

I have to also say that I don’t see Alex working esp at home with a film crew around. I could never imagine seeing them in his private and personal space where he resides with his family. I’d be shocked!😲
