Sharing Some More #H50 Memories Posted In The Last Days.

Over the last days of the show, some more people shared their #H50 memories ….

Of course there are many more who post messages about the show, but because our site revolves around Alex, we share the ones who mention Alex and post pictures of him.

  • From Justine (Proof that everybody knew Alex was leaving the show and that the final scene was filmed before the show was officially cancelled)

4/3/20 – So I made the cut in the very last 30 seconds, literally, of Five0’s Series Finale … well .. at least my profile😜 We filmed this airplane goodbye scene on 2/24th … a few days before anyone knew the show was going to be cancelled…we just thought Alex wasn’t coming back and the show would run without him for at least another year or two. Sitting across Alex & Michelle was like “somebody pinch me please ‘cause this can’t be real”…for me!
Marc & I watched the finale last night with tears streaming down our faces 😔Just happy I got to be a part of the Five0 Ohana in a small way #hawaiifive0#h50#marcamcclellan

#AlexOloughlin, I never knew you 10 years ago, but now I will definitely miss you on my tv every week! I’ve been blessed to be able to meet you numerous times since that first time you joked around with me that Thanksgiving week in 2010 before you got tazed in your house. 😂 It was fun (though tiring!) walking behind you over and over at #Spectacucon and I will forever cherish when you checked me out on the escalators for the whole world to see. 😂🥰 Shoutout to the #H50 editors for that! 🤣#SOTB was always fun when you’d come over. We Loved the group selfies!  Your charisma, humor, and dedicated work ethic made us all love you more. We love that you’ve embraced #Hawaii and found your #ohana here. Wishing you all the best in the future, whatever it may hold for you! Mahalo for everything! 🤙😘#H50hana#McGarrett#McG#SteveMcGarrett#SuperSEAL#Ninja

Wow. The series finale of Hawaii Five-0 was tonight and it gave me all the feels 😭🥺 I’ve watched this show with my parents over the past 10 years & have looked forward to seeing them film every summer when I go to Hawaii. The first picture was taken on set back in Season 1 before the show premiered. Before I knew what an impact it would have on me. This show will always have a special place in my heart. Now to rewatch them all with @lifeofthemarty2039 ♥️

Mahalo nui and a hui hou @hawaiifive0cbs❤️After 10 years of filming in Hawai‘i and 240 episodes, tonight will be their season finale. Sending our heartfelt aloha and mahalo to Alex O’Loughlin , @plenkov and the entire cast and crew 🙏🏽👗: Kiniokahokuloa Zamora KiniZamora #HNNSunrise #HNN

What a great ride @plenkov! I only popped in for one episode but what an episode it was! @iananthonydale and #alexoloughlin were wonderful to work with. Gentlemen personified. Congrats @hawaiifive0cbs for TEN great seasons. Enjoy the series finale tonight. Aloha and mahalo. 🤙🏻 #femalefilmmakerfriday

#hawaii50 finale tonight. 10 years in Hawaii. Glad I could be an extra a few times during their 10 years in Hawaii. It was def a fun experience and meeting McGarrett 😍😍😍#alexoloughlin . We will miss them. Aloha and Thank you for making Hawaii shine.

I tuned in to watch the series premiere of Hawaii Five 0 because my favorite actor was cast as the lead character. 10 years later, it is one of my all time favorite shows. I moved to Hawaii (not because of the show) and eventually got to meet said favorite actor. Not only did I get to meet him, I got to spend close to 2 hours with him and a small group of women for a charity event. I got to partner with him and sit down and talk about the loss of my dad with him. It’s a day I’ll never forget and it was made possible because of Hawaii Five 0. I’m so sad to see it end but so grateful for the memories it gave me. #mahalo #aloha #hawaiifive0 #H50 #alexoloughlin #stevemcgarrett #luckywelivehawaii #girlgothips #lucky #flashbackfriday

Be sure to tune in for the final episode of @hawaiifive0cbs tomorrow at 8 p.m. Aloha & Mahalo for 10 years! ⠀

Honored to be part of the show. Aloha #h50 and congrats on 10 amazing seasons!

Hope you enjoyed the memories shared by others.

We do not really expect to get any new information about Alex in the near future, because of the situation the world is in at the moment. But we will definitely keep our eyes and ears open to share  anything new about Alex.

We also still have some old stories in drafts, which we will share with you from time to time.

If there are any ideas of things that you would like us to post or discuss, you are welcome to do so.

Very classy series finale. Great ensemble of actors. I still think Alex would be a perfect OO7………tall, dark and handsome. Think about it okay Alex?

    • Hi Patricia.
Yes, Alex would have made a great Bond, but to be honest with you, I think that ship has sailed for him.
The latest Bond movie will only be released next year and then they might only start thinking of doing another one in 2 or 3 years time.
The role of Bond is very hard on the actor’s body – Daniel sustained many injuries during the years of him doing it. (and not something Alex will be looking for)
The biggest doubt also always remain – Apart from the one Aussie who played 007, they will not really cast somebody who is not a Brit.
But one never knows – the world is a strange place

Também penso assim. Parece existir uma pureza, uma transparência na sua relação que chega até nós de forma muito natural. 🎶🍀

    Amazing. Thank you for this.

It really looks like Alex and Beulah found each other as brothers. It is the purest of all the male bonding relationships that H50 gave us. That is what I consider the one true bromance because it wasn’t forced by the writers but grew from respect and love between these two fine actors and it was translated on the screen. This is a friendship that will last beyond the series. They are Ohana.

    • I think the kindness in both their souls resonated with one another and formed that bond.
I also kind of think that one of the reasons that Alex went on to do this last season, was because of Beulah. And that when Beulah landed some other roles during this time, it also gave Alex the freedom to say, this is the end now, my friend’s career will be okay.
Where do I get these assumptions from? Alex and his speech at the private screening of his episode:
Alex: [About Beulah] “He brought such an incredible, exuberant, youthful, positive energy. And he, you all, he is a big reason why I found the inspiration and the energy on top of all the madness of our lives, to do something like this.”

    Wonderful memories.

I’m still baffled and amazed at how many fans keep saying they hope his “back injury gets cured.” That was fixed over two years ago, per Alex himself in his May 2017 CBS Watch! Magazine interview and every other interview since. There’s video of him literally jumping out of a helicopter into a scuba dive with the show’s Navy SEAL techs last April without a problem. In May 2017, he told CBS Watch! Magazine he’d had to quit everything but swimming when he couldn’t move. He wouldn’t have done the helo dive last year if his back was still an issue.

In his public statement about the show’s cancellation, he never even mentioned his back. Some publications and sites have even amended their initial reporting. Alex himself has said he wants to “work in my garden” and “be with my kids.” A lot of fans really bought CBS’ damage control story and believed their PR machine.

I don’t think he’ll do another procedural or action show/movie, though. Back in 2017 and 2018, he told CBS Watch! Magazine and ET that his back injury “spooked” and “scared” him. He’ll be proactive about avoiding the possibility of a repeat.

When the lead actor in an action show is unable to do the physical stuff anymore, that’s serious business. Whatever the state of Alex’s health is, is irrelevant. That may not even be why he didn’t want to continue. It still all boils down to one thing: ten years is long enough.
At any rate, it’s looking more and more like ending the show was mostly down to CBS.

That’s just it, though. Alex himself said his back was fixed multiple times since May 2017. So, it IS relevant. Words are being put in his mouth about why he left that he hasn’t actually said. He’s always said he hates that and hates being misquoted.

It’s an assumption based on previous statements from over two years ago, before his back was fixed – statements he has since changed. And, it’s being reported as fact when he himself said he left to be with his family. He hasn’t said a word about his back. Alex’s back was strong enough to jump out of a helicopter from a significant altitude with no injury.

This isn’t about what he said almost three years ago, when his situation was different before he changed his tune. It’s about what he’s saying now. What I’m talking about is attributing things to him he hasn’t said. That IS relevant, because it’s misleading at best and lying at worst. It’s not coming from him. He’s stated the REAL reason he left. That’s my point.

I agree that ten years is more than enough. I’ve said it all along. And, I keep saying it to fans who still want a season 11 with McGarrett. Alex has sacrificed enough. I’ve said that on here and IG. CBS made the right choice, but they don’t need to validate it by coming up with excuses that contradict Alex’s own words. They did that, because they waited too long to announce the cancellation and knew it would come off as very sudden.

The truth is also important, accurate and responsible reporting is important. That’s why some publications and sites have now amended their initial assumptions he left due to his back. Because, he didn’t tell them that. They cited his old interviews about it from 2016, stated he’s suffered from side effects ever since, and said they heard that he couldn’t keep going “this time.”

Meanwhile, Alex has repeatedly said the opposite since May 2017. There’s video evidence of him doing a dangerous activity on his free time last April. And now, Alex himself has given a completely different reason for leaving. CBS is always going to try and save face with excuses, all networks do. It wasn’t until PL’s TV Line interview where he said Alex always wanted this to be his last season that sites amended their reporting, admitting Alex’s back was not involved.

I think facts are important and people need to know Alex has said something completely different from what third hand information erroneously claimed. He’s always been vocal about how much he hates being misquoted and people putting words in his mouth. So, I don’t think there’s anything wrong with pointing that out and informing fans of what Alex has actually said. There’s a big discrepancy between his own words and assumptions made based on old statements he hasn’t made in years.
