Yesterday Alex spend the day with Trident Adventures again.

jreig608 @tridentadventureshawaiiis hands down the best shop I have ever been able to dive with. Steve, Jimmy, and their crew are quite literally the best in the industry. They spare no expense and put so much thought and effort into making their dive experiences fun and amazing for all skill levels. I highly recommend anyone wanting to dive on Oahu, or to get certified, stop by the shop and let them take care of you. This was the first of many days I’m going to spend with these guys, and I look forward to keep diving with all of them!
Minor fanboy moment for a second… I got to dive with the ridiculously cool Alex O’Loughlin (that’s right…5-0’s McGarrett). Not only is he just a genuine and awesome guy, he is one hell of a diver. Looking forward to hopefully catching him on the boat again soon 🤙🏼 Maybe I’ll even get to catch @beulahkoale next time.

Alex seems to be enjoying life. I love how grateful he is for his lifestyle in Hawaii, and how kind he is to fans. If I ever ran into him somewhere, I’d just freeze. But good on these folks to enjoy their encounter.

I thought I would freeze too if I ever met Alex.
Then I did at SOTB S6. I was so nervous as he approached I thought for sure I’d be frozen stupid. But surprisingly enough a calmness came over me when he reached out to sign my book. He was so down to earth and real it was like meeting up with a good friend. He is so approachable and grateful for his fans that he simply radiates kindness, love and has a genuine nature about him.
Yeah he’s all that…and OMG! Way, WAY! WAY! more handsome in person.
I know, I know how is that possible? IDK HE JUST IS!
You’ll just have to make it to a SOTB event and see for yourself. *sigh*

I know some people who met him even talked to him and they all told me how surprised they’ve been that he is even more handsome in real person. I can’t believe that is even possible but I trust you all. 😉

He is. Mostly because of that energy about him. And the intense stare when he looks at you when you talk.

The thing is you all can talk to him in your mother tongue, I am pretty sure my problem would be that I’d lose alllll my English words. They would go poof, that’s for sure.

I know what you mean. My English would disintegrate too, and I’d be only able to produce non human sounds such as ‘Ghghgh’, ‘Mmmmooowww’ or ‘Ahohwuuu’. Poor dear, I’d leave him thinking he has fans from from outer space.

I’m always delighted when people who have nothing to gain by praising Alex speak highly of him. Even if it’s only the umpteenth confirmation that he’s an awesome man, I just can’t get enough.

Next time I plan to go on that helicopter jump and dive with trident adventures. I’d probably fall out of the helicopter face first if he’d be on there.

No you wouldn’t. You’d remain solded on your seat, staring at him like an owl and hiccupping in an unladylike way from emotion. At least, that’s what would happen to me!

Lol, ladies. You might freeze up, but I bet Alex would talk you out of your panic He knows how to put everyone at ease. He’s had this happen before and he knows how to handle the situation. If he saw you standing off to the side, I bet he would come over to you and start talking with you and offer to take a selfie with you. He’s the King of the Selfies!!
