O’Loughlin dispelled suggestions that he’s looking for a way to get out of Hawaii Five-0. He was misquoted in a recent media report, he said:

“I signed a contract for six or seven years, and that’s what I’m committed to. And if we do anything after that, we do something after that. Look, I love this show. This show is my job. This is my show. I like doing more work than anyone else connected to the show. I have from the beginning, and I will to the end. This is my life, and it’s all I have. I don’t have time to go do films. I don’t have the luxury of gaps in my schedule so I can go and do passion projects. I miss that, but I’m fully committed to Hawaii Five-0 and I’m deeply grateful for the opportunity I’ve been given. I get really mad when I’m misquoted. I try to be honest with the press. I don’t give one-word answers, and I like to say what I think. I’ve got a bit of a sense of humour. But when I’m misquoted and painted in a certain way, it makes me not want to do press. “Peter’s the best. Peter is the one guy that works harder than I do. If it wasn’t for him, we wouldn’t have the show. If it wasn’t for his advocacy and his championing of me, I wouldn’t be a part of this and you wouldn’t be talking to me today. He is the most committed, resourceful, vision-driven guy I think I’ve ever met. He’s the best writer with plot that I’ve ever met. The way he can solve problems on set, creatively in the script, within 30 minutes’ time, and have the pages ready for is incredible.

We’ve never done that many before. We do 22 or 24. And the years we did 24, we were all like (face of exhaustion). 240 Days of #AlexOLoughlin as #H50 Steve McGarrett (Part 11)

Before we start today’s post we want to once again warn fellow fans about the two groups on Facebook that are called  “Alex O’Loughlin Intense Study”.

Please remember those 2 groups have got nothing to do with us. We did not start them and we were never asked if our blog name could be used for them. They were started by somebody who is not connected to us!

Ewa Trepka who started the groups abandoned them and without managing the groups they are now used by scammers to share their fake accounts. They share pretty pictures of Alex and act as if they are him, in order to scam fans for money. And ignorant (or stubborn) fans keep commenting on those scammer posts…..

Facebook does not protect page names when groups are started and one cannot complain about it either. It is basically impossible to report any groups on Facebook for violations. Facebook also does not care if unattended groups are used by scammers for their scams and spam and in some cases porn posts. All the junk on there does not bother Facebook at all and reporting it is to no avail.

Please refrain from commenting on posts there or posting new posts on those groups. Comments and fan posts just make the groups active! If nobody reacts to the scammers there, they will stop posting.

“Carol Burnett, that was, oh man I mean. It was kind of like a dream for me. She’s a generation ahead I didn’t grow up with her show, but of course I’ve seen it. I’ve seen so much of her work over the years. Working with an icon like that is …. It really makes you sort of feel so humble. It brings you back to your own size. I had to do one scene with her, that was an emotional scene for McGarrett, and it’s funny. She’s like, when you have to do a scene that is emotional and heavy, a lot of it’s about the actor you are working with, whether or not you can trust them.
