EXCLUSIVE: Former top ICM talent and literary agent John Burnham, who left earlier this month to become a manager and partner at Atlas Artists and Atlas Literary, has signed Alex O’Loughlin as a client.
This marks a reunion for the duo. Burnham represented O’Loughlin for years as an agent and facilitated the actor’s casting as the lead of CBS’ Hawaii Five-0 reboot, which ran for 10 seasons.
Soon after the Hawaii Five-0 pilot had been picked up to series in 2010, O’Loughlin left ICM to follow Chris Hart, who had been an agent on his team, to UTA. The actor, who most recently did not have a manager, continues to be repped by UTA.
The Hawaii Five-0 alum joins a long list of Burnham clients who stayed with him in the transition to management and followed him to Atlas Artists, including John Cusack, Stephen Dorff, Diane English, Stephen Frears, Walter Hill, Felicity Huffman, William H. Macy, David Mamet, Joe Mantegna, Elaine May, Takashi Miike, Pat McKinley, David Milch, Rob Reiner, Wayne Wang, Peter Weir, John Woo and Terry Zwigoff.
My Thoughts
We can only hope that this will also be followed by news of a new project soon!
I hope soon. I miss seeing that handsome face and sexy smile.

Hopefully this means Alex will reappear again on the screen have missed him so much. Why doesn’t he come back to Australia and make a movie here he knows the scenery around the country it would suit him to a T.

It would have to be a great project and worth his while, for him to go there.

AWESOME NEWS! This is why we haven’t heard anything. He didn’t have any representation. Alright, Alex, let’s get to work. We want to see you!!! I think Alex was totally exhausted from ten years on FIVE-O. He needed a physical, spiritual, mental, psychological break. to rest, relax, sleep in and let his body have a chance to recover.

Ne sono davvero felice…. Devo confessare una cosa…. Mi mancava talmente tanto che mi sono rimessa a guardare le repliche di Hawaii 5-0 😂 non vedo l’ora di rivederlo.

Wonderful news! I could have cried with relief! That means he’s ready for work! Of course, this doesn’t mean we’ll see him on screen in the near future, but at least things are on the move.
Let’s hope that John Burnham finds as terrific a project as H5O for Alex, and that he finds it soon. Now will come the time for Alex when he will be glued to his phone, waiting for THE call. And now is the time for us to click like maniacs on Alex’s profile in the IMDB, just to make sure that TPTB know his fans are there waiting for him and that he deserves a greatissimo movie or show.
Thank you, FOYeur, for sharing this piece of news and turning this miserable Saturday of mine into the best day of the month!
