#AlexOLoughlin – Picture Tribute to #H50 3:20 (BTS)

Episode 320 of Hawaii Five-0 made it to my top ten list of episodes in the end. There were so much to love in this backstory episode and it gave Alex a lot to sink his acting teeth into.

You might be wondering why we are doing this post now. Of course the new Jack Reacher series was released a few weeks ago with Alan Ritchson in the title role. You will remember Alan as Steve’s old friend Freddie in this wonderful episode.

You don’t know how much this post has just helped my confused mind. All the way through watching the excellent ‘Reacher’ I was subconsciously trying to place the actor and couldn’t. And now it all becomes clear – he was the doomed Freddie in episode 3×20! These behind the scene pics are so good, thanks for posting!

Steve look so handsome in his Navy uniform. I just love him and how he truly portrays an Officer and a Gentleman.

What a pang of nostalgia I’ve just felt with this post!

This was one of my favorite epis too. It was S3, before the writers got tired of H50, or bored or whatever, and I always loved the epis where Alex acted as a Navy SEAL, as they were “serious” epis, with no non-sense writing or poor stories.

At that time, we knew we would have our weekly dose of H50 for years to come, we had regular Alex news, there was no pandemic and its toll of deaths and economical disasters, the climate change was not as acute as now, there was no international war at sight, we were almost one decade younger…

I’m just going to devour a box of chocolates to shake off my nostalgia…

  6. True. I hope, the war which started tonight will soon be over. When it´s over the world will never be the same. So sorry about all the victims on all sides and feeling quite a bit worried because this could lead to a really bad situation, much worse than it already is.
