It’s great to SEE Alex and hear he was out for a day of fun surf and sand with his family. Big thanks to Iolani for sharing a great pic with him and of all things Dan (a bit of irony there huh).

Thank you so much for posting this great photo of Alex with fans! He looks happy, healthy and rested. I had to look up Kewalos on a map of Oahu to figure out where they were surfing, Gorgeous place. That ocean looks soooo beautiful.

And is that some camera equipment? Doing some family film? Practicing his awesome skills we all know he has from the directing he did in 5-0? “Don’t look into the camera, Lion! Thanks for this post. It’s good to see him having fun with his family and still have time for his fans. Glad to see him safe and healthy. Still hope to see him in a movie or tv-show soon. I miss his briliant acting and funny faces and lines.

I’m in a very bad mood.
Yesterday my cardiologist told me I had to have a little heart surgery. And on my birthday, too. What a present! Then today I read somewhere on my phone that Scott is starting a new show with CBS. I’m glad for him, I really am, but somehow, this piece of news pisses me off.
And you what, Alex? Spending your days on the beach, as if you had an eternity or two at your disposal to decide what you want to do next? That is, supposing you plan to do something at all before cows are trained to give Camembert instead of milk.
My cardio has told me to use my imagination to twist around the facts that I don’t like so I can find something positive in them. It will cool me down, he says, and my blood pressure will appreciate it.
So following his advice, I’ve been analyzing this pic of Alex on the beach, and have found a soothing feature. His legs are white! As he lives in sunny Hawaii, these white legs can only have an explanation: he spends his days sitting at his desk, writing a book or, better still, a movie which he’ll direct and in which he’ll star, or studying a high stack of scripts and offers, all of them so good that he cannot make his mind up.
I don’t know how long I can fool myself with this explanation, but I’ll try to keep his legs in mind until he makes a move!

Sorry to hear the news, Cassiopea 1000. It must be a shock to hear you have to undergo something like a heart surgery. Hang in there, lady! You´ll feel better when the whole thing is over. And Alex? He will do something next. Either land a new role or write something for himself. Other actors did that, too and Alex is highly talented and dedicated having connections in Hollywood. And it´s also pretty obvious that he wants to work. So why shouldn´t he? I know, it´s not easy to stay patient but we have to wait. Big virtual hug and keep us informed if you want.

Thank you for your encouraging words, antjekreuz. They say the devil looks after his own, so I’ll be all right 😛! Plus I have full confidence in my surgeon. He doesn’t look at all like Dr. Yablonsky (sigh), but he is very good at his job!
All you say about Alex makes sense, but patience has never been my forte. I may even start to yell in frustration one of these days, just to let the steam off. Maddening man!

Cassiopea, I suspect that CBS has been offering Alex numerous projects very similar to the deal Scott signed, to executive produce, write and star in a new series set in LA. I suspect that Alex wants to stay in Hawaii because his family is there. He doesn’t want to continuously travel thousands of miles, like Scott did, to star in a series.
We have to be patient. Alex may create a new project to write, produce and star in, based in Hawaii. Fingers crossed!!! I believe that Alex has been receiving tons of offers for both feature films and TV series. He’s taking his time. I’m patient. I can wait until Alex chooses the right project which excites his talent and creativity. He has to think of his family now.

Yes, living in a paradise in the middle of the Pacific has its drawbacks. The “interesting” west mainland for an actor, that is LA, is at 6 hours from Honolulu. Too many hours for a married man with children.
That’s one of the things that worry me. It means that we can hardly expect to see Alex starring in a TV show in the future. Now, I think he could manage a movie, in LA, NYC, Indiana or Nebraska, whatever, as two or three months would do it.
As to another work based in Hawaii… I’m not sure. After H50, there are already Magnum and now NCIS. The audience might have an overdose of Hawaii, though there have been one million movies and TV shows located in LA and NYC and nobody has complained.
And, yes, Alex is taking his time, but that’s not what makes me impatient. Great things need time. It takes one minute to open a tin of spam, and 8 hours to prepare a imu and cook a kalua pig. What is driving me crazy is his silence. What is he cooking now?

I have a question. Does anyone know whatever happened with Alex wife Malia clothes business? I mean some years ago it looks like she had a blooming clothes business and she was like out there marketing her business, had a online website, had a IG account as well to promote her business but then like 5 yrs ago she just like dissapear and stop being in the public eye with her business and I dont hear anything anymore about Malias clothes business or wht is she doing now. Does anyone know anything? Im curious

I think one can presume that when a business stopped operating 4 years ago without any further detail, that it was just not profitable. Many businesses in a niche market like hers, just do not make money, and then it is better to close it down.
And no, we do not know what she is doing now. Most probably like Alex, enjoying the time together with their boys while they are still young. And like everybody else, riding out the pandemic as best as we all can.

Maybe her business mistake if you can call it a mistake was that her clothes were so expensive that not everyone can afford to buy it and just a certain group of the population such as celebs or just wealthy people and for sure that was not profitable and could backfired her. Her clothes were not for the ordinary common population segment,

I had no trouble finding her website and some of the items she sells. Named the stores where they are sold. Wondering in the photo if that is Malia and one of the boys in the background by the seawall.

If you search for Malia Jones there are lots of gorgeous photos of her surfing. Most of those photos were used as advertisements for her swimsuit line. I just looked her up online and was amazed at how many photos there are of her surfing. I love the photo of her shot from behind, where she’s in a swimsuit and carrying a surfboard and walking with her son to the beach. I enjoyed her Instagram. Remember the darling one she took of Alex on the beach, when he turned 40? A huge group of photos shows up if you Google her name.

I think you are confusing the two different things that Diana wrote. She did not say that there is a website with a picture of them all.
1) Malia’s website for her swimwear is still up and running.
2) She speculated that it might be Malia and one of the boys in the background in the picture above.
Although we know that they were also at the beach where the picture was taken, I highly doubt if it is any of them in the background because those people do not resemble them at all.

They really do not resemble Malia or any of the boys for me at all, so I highly doubt if it is any of them.
When you zoom in, you can see that the woman looks older and bigger than the very thin Malia.
And the boy is definitely younger and shorter than both Lion of Spike.

Yes Diana, her site is still up.
But she has not really updated or promoted any of it in 4 years. There might be some new products there, but I never really studied it to remember if there are any new items for sale.
Not sure if they are still just trying to sell the stock that was there, or if they are actually add anything new over time.

You are right Malia has noty promtoed or updated anything in 4 yrs, that is why I wonder whatever happen with her. She no longer updates her INSTAGRAM site I believe but even if her webisite is active I never had seen any new items posted constantly on that site the reason why I believe, probably her business did not do as good as everyone thought in the beginning.

Honestly, I am interested in what Alex does as an actor and what he willingly shares with us fans i. e. about his Jiu Jitsu.
Everything else is his/their private life and not our business. And I have a pretty good idea why his wife no longer uses instagram.

Of course, her business was a public enterprise. And people enquire and wonder about that.
I just feel that those who normally enquire are doing it with malicious intent rather than real interest.
But for the rest of it, I could not agree more!

Just curious, why his wife is no longer on IG? Im here also for Alex like we all are, I was just curious too why Alex is no longer like doing things related to his career as an actor after H50 that finsihed 2 yrs ago. Of course besides relaxing and resting which he deserves, No words on him like developing new movies or TV projects I havent read anything. anywhere, right?

Even though we do not hear anything, it does not mean Alex is not doing things related to his career.
In his interview, he said that he has reading scripts and even doing some writing himself.
Lucky for him, he’s got the luxury of taking his time with it.
We won’t hear in the media about projects unless something is ready to start production. But before production, many things need to happen, of which we as the public know nothing about.
AND of course, the pandemic slowed down a lot of stuff in the industry. Many projects were and are on hold because of it.
And H50 actually only ended just over a year ago, not even a year and a half yet.
