Nine years since we published our first post on this site and just more than ten years of following Alex’s career.
… to us!
It has been a roller coaster ride indeed.
This is post number 2382 on the blog and lots of hours behind creating each one of them. Not to mention all the Instagram, Facebook and Twitter posts over the years. And then reading and answering comments on all of them.
Lots of time and energy spent here!
All worth it.
I thought a lot about what to say – trying to find something memorable. Even read through my old anniversary posts for some inspiration and guidance. In the end I realised that in them you can find most of what can be said and nothing really more memorable to add. It is just all about Alex and fellowship with those who want to enjoy him with us.
I thought about writing about the pandemic and how it affected all of us. Even thought about sharing some of the pain and hardships we experienced during these past 9 years. But realised that would achieve nothing to try and add real life in here.
I even pondered about writing some harsh words for those who over the years took away the fun from us in many different ways. But in the end decided that they are not worth the time and energy to be mentioned here. They just create noise that drain joy from us and others and therefor deserve no mention.
Our focus and joy remains with Alex and his work!
It is all about who he is and what he offers us with his work and conduct – that is what is important.
Our passion will always be to bring you the best and the most accurate information about Alex that we can find.
We like to keep it real as far as possible, with the main focus on reporting on Alex’s actual work and other passions, enhanced with pictures of that work and other footage we can find.
It is definitely not easy to stay patient during this time of waiting. Waiting to see what Alex will do next. But there is no use for any of us to fret about it. It is what it is.
I prefer to enjoy that which we have here and enhance and update it with that which we haven’t published yet.
And together with it, enjoy the company of others who enjoy him.
