That is a series wrap on Hawaii Five-O!! 10 Seasons….plus the pilot. Wow. What a blessing. Thank you God. This show has brought me so many opportunities and has fed my family for so long, I am nothing but overwhelmed with gratitude. All good things must come to an end but the memories and experiences we’ve gained will be forever. I’ve got to work side by side with my dad, something I will cherish for a life time. I’ve met my wife, proposed, and got married in the duration of this show. The crew supported me though the loss of family members and welcomed, with so much love, new ones.

I am honored to call this hard working crew my ohana. I’m excited to work on new projects and invest more time into ongoing ones. This was a dream run for a young guy like me but it’s definitely just the beginning. Thank you to all the Directors, DP’s, and Camera Operators for being willing to answer any and all of my questions, your efforts will no be wasted.
To the Grip Nation, you know who you are, thank you for shaping me into the Grip I am today. You’ve given me your wisdom, knowledge, and experience and I hope to take that with me wherever I go. Five-0 will always be my foundation and I hope to make you guys proud. Love you all!
And last but definitely not least…thank you to all the fans! If it wasn’t for you, we wouldn’t have had this opportunity! I love all your enthusiasm, your repost on your fan pages, the crowds wherever we work, and all the encouraging messages you’ve sent. You guys make us feel loved!

  • In 2017 Brian wrote this message about Alex.

I woke up to this message from Alex. This man has the biggest heart. Definitely doesn’t get enough credit for all that he does. On and off the job, he is a stand up guy and a selfless person. He has made a lot of sacrifices for this show to go on, not only for the fans but the crew. I’ve made a living on this show for 7 years now and I feel blessed. Thank you cast, crew, and cbs for making an incredible product. Thank you to all the VIEWERS and FANS that keep our show alive! Most of all…Thank you God.🙏🏼☝🏽#hawaiifive0#h50#season8#griplife

  • From Dave Shaw (Husband of Angie DeGrazia – guest on Epi 1:11)

Bittersweet aloha to Hawaii Five O. My favorite show as a kid and when they brought it back and my wife @angiedegrazia got on the first season I was probably happier than she was! I also gotta give Alex O’Loughlin props for doing McGarrett justice👊🏼. At first I wasn’t sold on any of the cast. Always thought McGarrett should’ve been “older” and this show was more CSI Honolulu than Five O. But it grew on me, and now I get nothing but choke respect fo da kine🤙🏼👊🏼! Aloha nui loa to the cast and crew and I’m forever grateful to be connected to this. #hawaiifive0 #h50 #hawaiifiveo #alexoloughlin #hawaii #palekaiko #h50season1 #hawaiifiveoseason1

As the sun sets on filming of Hawaii Five-0 today, I wanted say something poignant. But then I realized that there are NO words that can describe what living here is like. What the people are like. What my family’s life has become because of my friends, my Ohana on the island. So I will just say mahalo to @plenkov and @bryspy45 for bringing me here to shoot this show. I finish the series having shot 36 episodes. The most of all 9 DPs that lensed this series. Proud of the work, I will share some of my favorite images from my time here over the next few weeks leading up to the series finale. Aloha and Mahalo #H50

Last day of Hawaii five o very sad alot of great memories with the best crew I’ve had the pleasure to work with in my 42 years in the film industry.

  • From Keikilani Grune  (Stand-in Crew #H50)

That’s a wrap on #hawaiifive0 . These past few days have been tough, emotionally… but so much love and respect flowing. This show has given me so much. So many opportunities, friends and a second family I never knew needed. Standing in, photo doubling (and occasional stunt double) for @meaghanrath has been such a gift. The crew & cast have been amazing. I will miss everyone. Some I will work with soon and some I may never see again. But to be a part of this incredible show, those memories will be forever with me. Aloha, a hui hou.

  • From Anuhea (Hawaiian singer – Episode 7:16 )

Being featured jamming “Simple Love Song” for the Valentines episode of Hawai’i 5-0 back in 2017 was def one of the coolest experiences I ever had. After 10 successful years filming in Hawaii, the popular show has just announced they will be hanging it up, and just wrapped filming their last episode. So grateful to have been on it, and it was such a great opportunity for so many local celebs like our actors, comedians, musicians etc to be featured in a hit Tv production like that. Also, as a former film student pursuing my degree in film production at one point in my life, I love seeing these moves and shows being filmed here in Hawai’i, as it creates the opportunity for these young kids and adults to work in showbiz and not having to move away. Mahalo & congrats to the cast and crew of Hawai’i 5-0 for 10 incredible years! #theresnobusinesslikeshowbusiness#hawaii50#simplelovesong#
