#AlexOLoughlin ….. Breathing My Characters

I absolutely throw myself into every role and try to live and breathe each character I play.

I am also and have always been an inquiring mind.

  4. Alex is an exquisite actor. He fades out to become his characters. There’s no mood or emotion he’s unable to transmit, and he never overacts.

. FOYeur. I told Alex in almost his own words when I went to the Preview of TBUP at AIF way back in 2010. He liked it and told me “THANK YOU/ The next say he remembered me. .Signed my 1st Scrapbook and chatted with me for about 5 minutes. Thank you for reminding me of such lovely memories and the pictures and all your hard work on this BRILLIANT Fansite.

Sigh, Pommienana, you are so lucky. Alex sounds wonderful. I love that he genuinely talked with you for an extended period of time. He really wanted to interact with you, one human being to another. He’s special, unique and extraordinary. I’d love to meet the gentleman. Or just stand back and watch other people meet him and enjoy how wonderful he is with everyone. I loved watching him at this years SOTB. Ladies, gotta tell ya’ll, when I see SOTB, all I can think of is “Sex on the Beach!!!”

He definitely absorbs the essence of his characters and becomes that character!! I esp loved the chilling character he played in Criminal Minds……he really was scary creepy!!! I never tire of giving him accolades as he so richly deserves them!!!!

  8. I love how Alex is such a talented actor that he literally fades away and lets the character come to the forefront and shine.
I was recently talking to one of my a clients and found out she also likes H5-0. It’s one of her and her husbands favorite shows, but she didn’t realize Alex also played Mick St. John in Moonlight another old favorite of hers.
    What?! I know right? :O
She was like “So that’s where I’ve seen him before!” I then mentioned Tree Rivers and TBUP and her eyes kept getting bigger and bigger with the realization that she has unknowingly liked him all along. She never put two and two…er…three together that these characters were all played by Alex. Now that she dose I hope she wont miss any future characters Alex will undauntedly “breathe” life into next. ♥ He’s JUST THAT GOOD! ♥

Yeab, he has a way of making you feel what his characters are feeling. Plus, he’s sexy as hell. I know he has to move on, but damn I’m going to miss him as Steve MaGarrett.

I totally agree with you there! That’s how I first fell in love with him and fell hard after the first episode. Hard to believe that’s all it took.

He is a perfect example of a chameleon. He adapts to the role he’s playing. Just finished watching the episode where he gets slapped with a restraining order by the “therapist”. He looks so sexy in that episode. So pissed off sexy its just mind blowing. I love how he gets the satisfaction of telling Danno to book’em at the end, its like the itch he needed to scratch the whole episode.

  10. Are we really the only ones to see how good he is? Are the pros in the movie business deaf, blind and dumb? It exasperates me!
