Trivia for the week:

  •  A big thank you to those accounts on IG who deleted  the fake pictures they posted unknowingly. Always good to see that there are still fans who care and want to keep things real. Next Week:

  • According to posts on social media they are busy filming the season finale of Hawaii Five-0. Peter indicated earlier that episode 7:24 and 7:25 will be swapped around, and that means that they still have the penultimate episode to film before hiatus. I guess they will start on that somewhere during next week.
  • Wonder if we will get news of renewal before they shoot the last episode, or if we will have to wait until May when the announcements are made during CBS Upfront in New York?

I always enjoy your week in review posts.

Loved the new/old pic of goofy (and perhaps a little drunk) Alex. It reminded me of a fan pic he took pulling the same face, and Malia telling him to take another “without that face” 😆

I just saw the new fan pic and, wow, he looks good! He’s so approachable and fan friendly ❤

  4. Thank you. When I look at the last gif I’m hearing this:

And your last pic is illegal. Eyes that have it all.

Baby-Alex! Always fun to see his early days. He always looked so very happy. I hope he still is. ❤

    • I think he is still happy, but on a different level. I think he is the type of person that will just be happy with life.
I could be totally wrong, but I think the disappointments with Moonlight and Three Rivers, where he gave himself completely just to loose them both, took away some of that unbridled innocent happiness that he used to have in those early days in Hollywood.
I think it happens with most of us as we get older and have to deal with some of those type of situations.

Sigh, they’re already filming the season finale. I remember the blessing ceremony and the first day of shooting like it was yesterday. Time flies when you’re having fun.

I love the Instagram photo of Alex in the car with the two kids outside the window, making faces. It almost looks like a scene from the show!! He’s absolutely hilarious and always up for a silly, goofy, funny photo. lol I love Malia telling him to take another fan photo “without that face.” lol, she has four kids at home. Alex always says that he’s just one of the kids. And I love him looking into the camera and primping his hair. That’s the kind of stuff that keeps everything light and easy on the set. I swear, if I ever met this guy, he’d keep me laughing all the time.

Thanks FOYeur. I’m feeling sad, nostalgic, and I’m already suffering withdrawal symptoms, and we still have six more episodes to go! The upcoming episodes look good. The entire team and their family members are threatened by powerful evil forces. Hmmm, sounds interesting. And it looks like Adam’s finally back in the picture. I hope we get a chance to see everyone, all of Steve’s Ohana. We still have to resolve Madison Grey.

I like multi-episode arcs, because the storylines are more compelling, complex and events unfold over a much longer period of time. The suspense, danger and threats build over time and it allows for much more complex character development. I get emotionally invested in the outcome and then the actual conclusion is more satisfying to me. So, I’m hoping that this is how Season Seven concludes, with a storyline that builds over several episodes, to the penultimate conclusion in episode 25.

The answer to the Madison Grey story is in the “crossover” episode of Macgyver”. I don’t watch the show on a regular basis but decided to give it a shot because of H50. While I wasn’t a fan of the show there were answers given out. You’ll have to watch if you want to know what happened.

I too am sad that it’s almost that time of year again. Hiatus sucks, especially if you don’t know if its going to get renewed. I keep praying to hear news soon. Can’t wait until next week so we get a new episode.

As always ladies thanks for the updates!

      • I guess we will one day have to watch Game of Thrones to see what happened to Doris in the end? 😀
I find it ridiculous that they would give answers for one show in another. Millions of non- American viewers do not have the luxury of having these shows broadcast even remotely close to each other in time schedules and seasons.

Oh NO, I HAVE to watch the cross-over episode to find out what happened to Madison Grey?? What a cheap shot and a total cheat to the fans of Hawaii Five-O!! Yet another powerful storyline disappears into oblivion. Do we find out whether or not Alicia killed Madison?

CBS should have heavily advertised the content of the episode, so more of us would have watched it. “Whatever happened to Madison Grey? You’ll find out on the March 10th episode of MacGyver.” They could have upped viewership a few million, which was the entire purpose of the crossover anyway, trying to entice Hawaii Five-O viewers to give MacGyver a shot.

I wonder if MacGyver will be renewed. I noticed that it was given 22 episodes at the beginning of the year but the season finale is episode 21. Hmmmmm. They keep adding ON more episodes to Hawaii Five-O each year!! Other comparable shows on CBS have 22 or 24 episodes. Five-O has shot 25 episodes the past few years. That means an even shorter break for the actors, considering it seems to now take two weeks to film, edit, score and add all the special effects. Back when the original show was on the air, 1968-1980, episodes were shot in about 7 days. My brain boggles. They must shoot episodes simultaneously in order to keep up with the schedule.

I do not watch MacGyver at all. Fast forwarded through the episode just to find out about the Mr, Grayson answer. It simply said that she was dead. Nothing about who killed her at all. What a disappointment.PL sucks. I believe that MacGyver will be cancelled and this was PLs way of thumbing his nose at Hawaii 5O fans. What a jerk! He just can’t handle the fact that fans enjoy Hawaii 5O. Whether it is for the action or just to bask in AOLs deliciousness, especially the shirtless scenes.(the man is one sweet piece of man-candy) He needs to get over himself. His precious MacGyver was a bomb.Even being the lead in to 5O didn’t help.

I know!!!! The sum total of any information is that “She’s dead.” Not how she was killed, where, who killed her, when? No news about Alicia?? My mouth fell open when they said that. END OF STORY! I couldn’t believe that Peter and the 5-O brilliant writing crew, whom Peter tells us writes great and suspenseful storylines each week, could just end this really great storyline off camera with just a single line! I still can’t believe it!
Sadly for us, McGuyer was just renewed, so we get another year of crappy scripts from the Five-O writing team. I watched the episode until they said “She’s dead” and then clicked out of it. Now I’ll NEVER watch the show again.

              • Kathysr, like you I am really annoyed how they handled this. Hopefully they will talk about the Madison/Grey incident in H50 too. But what I don’t get is what the renewal of MacGuyver has to do with the 5-0 scripts.

I think that the writers are split. I think that most of their creative energy and ideas are now focused on McGuyver rather than on Hawaii Five-O. Just look at the Hawaii Five-O writers Twitter account, just see how much of it is about 5-O and how much is about McGuyver. 90% McGuyver, 10% Hawaii Five-O. Also, look at Peter’s Twitter account. It’s ALL about McGuyver, very little about Hawaii Five-O.

I think, and this is just my personal opinion everyone, that most of everyone’s creative energies, excitement and focus are now devoted to keeping McGuyver going, and that Hawaii Five-O is suffering as a result. For me this year, the 5-O scripts have been sub-par, and the bifurcating into parallel storylines in the same episode dilutes the reality and suspense of what happens in each episode. It also splits the team so they’re no longer acting as one unit. I like it when EVERYONE is focused on the same problem, working as a powerful team to solve the problem and get the bad guy. I want to see the whole team together, not split up into different directions.

From the PR so far, it sounds like they’re bringing everyone back together for a powerful season finale. Here’s hoping.

I’m also beginning to see talk of a 9th season. WOW.

            • Sorry dq, I don’t agree with PL’s storyline choices and I was really disappointed about the way he talked about his 5-0 lead actor, but I think that there is no need for name-calling and being rude.
