#AlexOLoughlin – Pretty as a picture #21

On the set of Criminal Minds

It was terrific. It was almost like being a fan of these guys and this show, and then finding myself on set going, hey!

Coolest show!

It’s not often that I get to play character roles.

You kinda leave drama school and you head off into a direction and that’s the direction you take.

You’re either on the character actor route or the leading man route.

It was a delight for me to play a role like this.

  1. He really was excellent in this! First time I’ve ever felt sorry for an unsub and shed tears over his demise. Alex did a great job!

I notice something new about Alex’s performance every time I see this episode. He deserved an Emmy for his portrayal of Vincent Rowlings !!

  3. He played Vincent so well! It was almost shocking after only seeing Mick and then seeing Vincent! But I loved it and his acting just floored me!

  4. Emmy worth acting! Period.
Alex/Vincent carried this episode. There’s no other actor who is that expressive and powerful without words.
The scene that really got me was Vincent watching the video of his mothers murder. Just standing there, head a little bit to the left, and his face told the whole story.

He was excellent as Vincent. To bad he was never rewarded for that absolutely powerful performance. He’s the only unsub I’ve ever cried for.
