Well It’s a toss up between Mick St. John and Steve McGarrett. Mick was soulful, sensitive, and protective. Steve is still haunted by his past, also protective, tough, committed to his team (Ohana) and they both are BAMF and SEXY as hell.

Mick! Moonlight was the first show I saw Alex in, and I immediately – ok, at the end of Ep 2 😉 – fell in love with this sexy, powerful vampire, who on the other hand is emotional and vulnerable. I love(d) it how great Alex plays the inner turmoil that sometimes only shows in Mick’s eyes.

My 2 favourite characters are Mick and Steve. Alex was and is the right actor to play these characters at the right time. If I had to choose it would be Steve. I always love the handsome action hero and sexy with it.

Steve is my fav. Loved Mick but I have a soft spot for Jack and Vincent. What is with this man that makes me like a serial killer? It’s all Alex’s fault and his amazing way to deal with the characters that he develops.

I forgot to say ‘Why Mick?’…Because VAMPIRE, and VAMPIRE, and yeah, hello VAMPIRE!!! 😀 *Ahem* But seriously, I loved Mick because of the whole mythology of the Moonlight Vampires, it was so much closer to the 19th century Vampire only translated to a modern age, and I loved how close Mick was to a 19th century character called Varney the Vampire. The comparison had my Vampire appreciation senses all a tingling. 😀

Mick, Mick, oh Mick St. John. I am sorry but it’s always Mick St. John for me. I know Steve McGarrett is great,
Dr. Andy was wonderful, for a time I would want to be in a hospital but Mick is the BEST for me! Mick just get me in all the right places. Love detective part, love the sneaking around the DA, love the voice! I just have to shove Beth out of the way, and all is good 😉
Jack (OF) was a cutie, Micheal Carter, looks great, but, oh my.. Um – NO!! 😯
I have seen the Criminal Minds – Vincent, he was interesting, now that I know it was Alex playing the part, didn’t know the first time I saw it!
Stan was okay, but he just.. I don’t know!!
But as I see all these pictures above, I have some catching up to do.
But Mick St. John is number one for me! I think I have a soft spot for Cops and Detectives.
P.S. But this list might change after I watch Mary Bryant 😉

Mick will always have my heart because he was the first character I ever saw Alex play, and he is my favorite vampire ever–and I love vampires. 🙂

Choosing a fav character is a bit like choosing the cutest puppy out of the litter. How could I? You never forget your first so that’s Mick and love a sexy vamp; the great Dr. Yablonski’s bedside manner just makes me smile; but Steve has given me the most hours of enjoyment plus it brought me here and to Twitter friends. I’ve watched the TV roles more so I go with them first but haven’t been disappointed yet with any of them. – Brenda

hmm, tough choice… obviously not Michael, but let’s just say all the rest… in every one of those characters is something of Alex himself, that’s why they are so great and lovely… but, all in all, I think that Andy is actually my ultimate favorite, even though Steve is current role and Mick is the one I really didn’t want to watch, but then…

I discovered him as Steve so it’s my choice, he’s so hot! This role fits him so well, but may be because he is a great actor.
I admit as Stan he’s perfect: face, body…. but a bit to perfect, looks too smooth.
In France I’ve never heard about “three river” but by seeing your gifs I have to admit that I would have probably fallen in love with Andy.
The others roles are not either very known for us but Kevin and Jack look pretty. I have to find Oyster Farm on the Net.
Oh, and he was so good as Vincent that I didn’t recognize him. Which idiot I am!!

For me, it’s hard to choose between Mick, Andy and Steve. But I have to go with Mick and Steve. I fell in love with Alex as Mick, tough, sexy, sweet, sensitive vampire that he was. Alex as Steve is such an emotional, powerful, volatile character. He’s tough, super sexy, handsome, honorable, loyal, sensitive. With both Mick and Steve, Alex hit the nail on the head portraying them. He shows(ed) the inner turmoil both struggle(d) with. Alex’s face and eyes shows(ed) it. You could feel it, you can taste it. As a single, stand-alone character it would have to be, hands down, Vincent, methodical, cold, calculating. Amazing acting from a man who’s never been recognized for his remarkable range of talent.

Well, it’s AoL, it’s his personality and the way he ‘shines’ in ALL of his roles. I have watches all his perfomances repeatedly, and what I like most about it – is Alex. As most of you, I’ve started with some Mick (the sound of his voice as Mick is seducing and so creaping sexy, I think he could make me c@me just by whispering something in my ear) and Stan, then discovered Will and Michael and am finally stuck with CmG. I like him better now, cause he is more manly and self-confident, but I have really enjoyed to see him as a ‘puppy’ as well. I think I actually like Moonlight and Five O so much, cause there is so much of Alex to be watched. I wish for all of us fan girls that he will be able to do much more and show more of his great talent and hotness. This is a first for me, cause I’ve never liked ALL the work by a single actor before.

Even though he plays every role to perfection, I am still in love with Mick. There is something about a strong man who is also vulnerable! I’m thrilled to see that Alex’s career continues as I can’t get enough of him!

Foyeur, it’s a very tough choice! This is not fair because you know very well how great he is as a hero and a villain! The first time i watched Alex’s work was as commander Steve McGarrett and i was hooked by his performance. I like when an actor makes me believe that the character exists and Alex does with all these characters, even with small ones like Marcus, Marshall or Luke.
My favorite villain is Vincent but there are several heros like Steve, Andy and Will.

Steve is my most favorite, but Mick is a very close second! I first saw Alex as Steve in S1 and went “Coocoo for Coco Puffs” as they say. 😉 I began reading and watching anything that I could find on him. I reluctantly watched Moonlight, but ended up watching all 16 episodes over one weekend!
I prefer Steve’s short hair over Mick’s long hair, and his tanned, sexy, tattooed body is delicious! However, Mick was so sensual in every move he made! That sniffing nose of his makes my panties tremble every time I re watch! I have come to love Steve more in the last season, because his character has grown so much. He is now sensitive and loving as well as a SuperSeal with a FREAKIN HOT BODY!
Jack is good for my cougar urges and Stan is almost sickening sweet, but he was some tantalizing eye candy!
His portrayal of Vincent was Emmy worthy and I still have it saved on my DVR from over a year ago. I hope to see him play the antagonist or villain in a movie some day.

I just LOVE all of them and it is impossible to choose because all of them , Dave , Ian,, Jack ,Micheal, Will. Eric, Marcus. Marshall Russell, Kevin, Mick. Vincent, Stan .Andy and Steve ALL come from the intelligence and amazing talent found in the gorgeous physical specimen that is ALEX O LOUGHLIN.

I love them all also because ultimately they are all Alex. But my heart belongs to Mick. But I must say I do think Alex was born to play Steve. And I’m really enjoying Steve because he’s the character we are getting the most of. I just plainly love to watch Alex act.

I love Mick St. John, Steve McGarret and Andy Yablonski. Mick, even being a vampire, he has a human side. Steve has a “strong attitude”, like Mick. Andy has a bad past, but he want to saves lives, like Mick and Steve, they protect people. Andy doesn’t care if his boss gets upset, if his boss didn’t agree with him, like Steve (Steve’s boss in Five-0 team is the governor).
I love Stan too.
Ok, I love Alex O’Loughlin. I saw him for the first time in H50, I loved his aspect, but then I started getting attentive to his professional performance (I saw Moonlight, I’m watching H50 and Three Rivers, I watched Back-Up Plan, I will watche Whiteout and others) and I loved so much, I watched his bloopers in H50, interviews, and I have been watching a bit of man he is and love it! 🙂
