I’ll risk stating the obvious and say that the scene is giffed in a great way and the sound enhancement is really impressive. Respect, Paula! #3 works for me fine, FYI. Kind of mesmerising. #4 startles me. As it is meant to.

I don’t think so, really. Gifs are the perfect medium, obvi, as they resolve the bother of rewinding/replaying a scene all the time manually. And the sound is a nice optional background to all this 🙂

You read my mind, that´s exactly why I did it this way. Thought the audio brings this scene better to memory, not all of us remember their convo by heart.
I especially loved when “shocked” Beth asks “you´ve never been with a human?” and then Mick replies “It´s not like you´ve been with a vampire”, it was so funny to me 🙂

Well If we are on an Island, I would definitely take Mary Bryant….then I will dream of how Will catches fish for me every day and how we will plan a trip back to freedom….(or maybe not – if Will is there with me, I would rather stay :smile:)

I do understand what you mean though. I did LOVE Mick and Beth but I would have been equally happy to see Mick get with Josef…or Coraline….or Josef AND Coraline…or Beth and Coraline…or Beth and Josef…or…well you get the picture!!
That character just had so much RAW s*x appeal…I just wanted to see him “with” ANYONE!!

We’re still around, although in terms of actually creating stuff it’s pretty much just me and a few other people who might join in sporadically. But the actual number of Shippers/people at least interested in Josef/Mick – let me see, the people I actually interact with on a close basis is around 10, but I have over 200 followers on my MySpace page (although I don’t update it that regularly), 114 on Facebook, around 15-20 on LiveJournal, and 59 on Tumblr. The trouble is we’re spread out over lots of different platforms, you have shippers on LiveJournal, others on Facebook, some who only hang out on forums or Fan Fiction dot net, and so on. It’s not there’s this big club room where we all hang out ;).

After my last comment I should say that I LOVED this scene. So sweet…and that smile and look on Mick’s face when he leaned in for that kiss….mmmm…*sigh*

I loved this scene, but seriously how could she be so patient for him to kiss her? I liked Beth on BC much better! They were standing so far apart and when he leaned in she barely moves. I would have sucked his face off!! That smile, those eyes, those lips moving towards me so f*cking slowly, I would have grabbed him and rocked his world!!! The sexual tension was too much sometimes…pissed me off a little actually. I know CBS hadn’t cancelled them yet, but the writers should have moved a bit quicker with the physical part of the relationship. I know….he was an old, honorable, romantic vampire…yeah,yeah…HE’S A FREAKING VAMPIRE!!! Beth was such a “good girl”…made me sick after awhile…she kissed him first in the parking lot and came on to him while on BC, but when it is clearly obvious he wants to make out…she just stands there. UGHH!!! *smacks forehead* I know I may be in the minority, but I loved Mick and Coraline’s passion. Coraline, even as a human, had sex appeal X1000!

In #3 after smiling his eyes wander down to capture her mouth, jeez, she should have just let him do the obvious! To much “good girl” 😉 Could have been one of the hottest ML moment!

She didn’t have Josh around any more to be her safety net. So if it didn’t work out she had no one to run to. Maybe.

She was still with Josh in this scene, so kissing Mick like that was totally sending him mixed signals, especially when blind Freddy could have seen the guy was crushing on her big time. The kiss was so spur of the moment and surreptitious to me as well, that it was almost like Beth knew she was doing something wrong. If I wanted to thank a co-worker I was particularly close to (at this stage I think Mick and Beth had become like co-workers), being a married woman I certainly wouldn’t just walk up to them and plant a kiss on their lips. So many of the scenes between Mick and Beth just made me feel sorry for Mick, or sorry for Josh, or both.

This was epi 14, Josh got killed in 11. I think Beth had moved on from Josh. This almost-kiss was on the boat when Mick was that movie starlet´s bodyguard.
You got the epis confused…oopsie. You need to stop the conga line and rewatch 😉

Oh, I thought this was the carpark kiss..oopsy, my bad. I have to admit when I watch Moonlight these days I do tend to just watch the boys getting shippy (hey I need my daily dose of squee time). Good shipper, bad Moonlight fan *smacks self*
