Wow, Paula, you’re sooo fast!! Thank you a lot!! I’m just recapping this epi, I didn’t want to but I have to get rid of my feeelings in some way. As per uge, you captured the best moments. Do I really have to repeat it again? BTW, hope your RL is getting better.

I actually watched this epi before capturing. I often don´t have time for that. I will now start going through it once more. Alex being part of nearly every scene makes this epi a goldmine for caps 😀

(((HUGS))) to you Paula, such a great job, it was a great episode last night. I had a feeling it would be, when I saw the promo stills of Steve and Catherine escorting a casket home.
I saw the green background pictures and not ready for the crying again, seeing Emotional Steve got me last night big time, and then seeing him with the little girl at the funeral! Oh my..

Hm, I mean, am I allowed to say here that I don’t fancy kids that much? That would be a great liberty and a great relief… But I’d better not comment on the little girl, I saw why she was in the episode but I didn’t much like the result. I guess it’s me only 😦 My bad.

I have the same thought, they will probably hate this epi. In my opinion this epi might actually be as good as 210 last season. Always refreshing to see them outside HI crime scene. I didn´t even miss the other 3 stars, I think they could have easily left their tiny bits out completely, I actually think those scenes felt a bit forced.

ACA, Paula, but will you pls get out off my head, cause the 3.20 and 2.10 comparison is what I’m thinking about right now and I swear that this is the last sentence I just wrote down in my epi recap: “McG gives a call to his wife, I mean, team, which is gathered around Ess aka the Majic Table to get themselves smuggled on this epi in a totally natural and unobtrusive manner. Dun dun dun duuunnn.” Your line of thoughts frighten me cause they are mine, too. OK, I promise to stop oversharing now.

The moment around “Ess” was really odd. And as soon as Steve smiled/laughed in the aircraft, I made a mental note, Steve´s most beautiful smiles are in choppers or planes. If only there had been some blood on his face to make this smile even hotter 😉

Thanks Paula. Yesterday between the horror in Boston and the great ep on which Alex was Amazing….again I used all the tissues on the house. It should have been a 2 hour episode there was so much to tell. Michelle and Alex are great together and I also loved the final scene with the little girl…so much emotion and then he he sees his team.
And you are Buttercup, here we all love McRoll..

It amazes me how you get theses up so fast! Thank you for giving me joy on this rather sad day in my personal life as well as those in Boston. Thank you for including the sunglasses gif! GUH! He is so f*cking hot in them and all that dirt on him made me want to bathe him. The smiles! The bear crawl butt shot!
Something about this man in the jungle that gets my blood flowing to my nether regions. 😛 A man in the bush 😆 …I feel like pouncing on him like a hungry lioness, or a horny one anyway. 😉 These are just fabulous and I will come back again and again to keep my spirits high!

I’m going for my first rewatch (I’ll skip the first 2 minutes, because I’ve already watched it a hundred times 😉 )!
I barely can believe how Steve “has changed” since the Pilot! He looked very much younger and edged! Now he’s def grown up, also the relationsship with Cath has grown, from the light “let’s do me a favor-kind-of-crush” and “I invited you to dinner-relationsship” they’ve become a really great couple, depending on each other and care (Cath did so well when Steve observes the broken bones of his buddy-friend!) and I won’t even start to talk about Steve checking on Cath’s broken rib, I leave that for tomorrow! And for the gunfire/fighting stuff (being unrealistic), it’s TV, with an epic cast, which we love and adore so much! Thanks for the beautiful gifs 🙂 so like it!

There is a big difference in Steve´s/Alex´s appearance. Even his skin looks more glowing in the pilot. He has definitely grown up now. Not as boyish as before….

Agreed! If one were to pinpoint the change, I would say the large difference was a few episode into season three. I think even more early season three to now, he has changed, almost like his face has changed in shape quite a bit…..and his body too, even bigger guns now lol! I love how a student who got a hug on campus at th cancer charity thing he did said ‘his arms are so hard’ lol!

That’s true, he changed also during s3, I recently watched the “uniform-ep” and thought he looked pretty much different from now! And thanks to FOYeur and Paula I knew that those eps where somehow mixed up for screening, so that’s the reason Steve looked different! Everyday up-to-date, thanks to you ladies 😉 ! (and I love every day!)

News from Boston was so sad and I was afraid CBS was going to preempt Show like they did for Sandy Hook and Hurricane Sandy specials. They probably knew the fans couldn’t take any more waiting angst!

McG just gets better and better and don’t take this the wrong way but Cath looks pretty hot too. Didn’t miss Danno whining at all. It was forced at the end, but if they weren’t there, maybe fans would be questioning why they didn’t support McG at that time like we wondered why Kono got no support during her time out. The gifs are great baby hater. 🙂

I am not embassarred to admit that I have a girl crush on Michelle. She is so beautiful and talented. Her portrayal of Cath is spot on…I LOVE that character. I LOVE that she has known Steve for years…and knows him better than he knows himself…and I LOVE that she’s a cool chick and a bad @ss (#girlpower) ….but most of all I LOVE that she is a link to Steve’s past and through her we get to learn more about him.

I love her as bad *ss chick too! I can’t understand why some folks constantly moan about her character! Mac could go with Harm to very bad places in the East on some rather unrealistic missions! And I loved it all the way through! McRoll has such a great past to hang on to, I love the way the two stick together for so long! I hope it’s stays into s4 😉 ! And it looks like the relationsship is fine again, so we can go on to the next LEVEL and do some hot-steamy-shower-scenes soon!

I loved his 3 second contemplative face when his buddy tells him Catherine is the real deal and he shouldn’t mess it up.
In that same scene, is it his dog tags he kisses when he takes them off or something else?
Loved Danny’s use of “my boy” referring to Steve and then Steve using it to refer to his deceased friend.
Just loved so much about the whole episode!

I admire Show for letting the male characters feel and show (brotherly) love for one another. I LOVE the contrast of the alpha male men not being afraid to show their emotions with and to each other.
I LOVED the look on Steve’s face too when Freddie said that Steve’s relationship with Catherine was the real deal..that look of his proved that he’s loved her for a long time.
It was his dog tags that he kissed. I think that they probably had to remove them for the mission….”this mission does not exist…if you are killed or captured you are on your own” “that means no rescue attempt..no negotiations…not even an acknowledgment of your service”<<<<THAT made me so sad for Steve.

I didn’t feel the ending was “Forced ” at all .Steve’s TEAM are his OHANA and the look the three of them gave him showed that beautifully .We needed the scene with the litle girl as well.!!A Seal does not break a promise to his Buddy and “Brother” “YOUR DADDY LOVES YOU VERY MUCH”

Agreed CVC. It felt disjointed to me and I think it was the way it was filmed, not that I didn’t like it. If they were standing with the others, like at the roller derby episode then it would have felt more real. This felt like they took 3 actors and shot a pic of them standing around when no one else was there. I know this is probably how it was really shot but the point is to normally make it look like something different. lol.

Wow Paula…great job with these!!! I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this episode!! I’m on my third rewatch now…with little to no ff required because Steve/Alex was in nearly every scene 🙂
You captured my favorite Steve moment in your first gif. I don’t think I can repeat here what I said out loud when he walked in wearing those sunglasses. I know, I know…I’ve never held back before so why start now right? Okay…I said “FK ME” and believe me…I meant it LITERALLY!!! HOLY HELL he was so fkg SEXY in those sunglasses and dust and beige camo and all that gear…YUUUUMMMY!!
And to prove that I’m not completely shallow…that entire scene was brilliantly acted by all four men…very believable!!
The rest of your gifs and pics are pretty awesome too!! His smile in the next three warms my heart….I needed those light moments in all that seriousness last night…in the episode and in RL.
Then there is the bear-crawl @ss shot and the water shake off shot…it doesn’t get much better than that…SO.HOT!!!
And then finally…that FACE!! SO.MUCH.PRETTY!! I especially LOVE the one with Steve and Cath…they are two GORGEOUS people who look great together…and their on-screen chemisty is gold!!! I am one happy McRoll shipper right now!!!

ACA about #1 CG!!! I must stop watching the show with my kids 😆 I felt and nearly said what you did when I saw him in the sunglasses! My mouth fell open with a “Fu….” and my daughter looked at me and said, “Really? You need help.” I need help with something… *cough*..but thought further discussion with an 11 year old on the topic was a bit inappropriate. Not that she isn’t totally aware of my obsession with him. I’ve said before, I hope she isn’t as boy crazy as I was at her age. UGH!!

Love these!! Loved the episode. it wasn’t perfect, it wasn’t 2.10 but there was a lot to love about it. I’ll leave the nit pickers to talk about what they hate, I’ll focus on what was good like you have. 🙂
