See that’s interesting, ’cause Mick’s humanity was the one part of him that had me rolling my eyes and going ‘Oh FFS, get over it’. To me it was like ‘Oh boo hoo I’m a vampire, I’m incredibly good looking, I have powers to help people beyond human limitations, I live in a kick arse apartment – oh yeah, Mick, your life just sucks!’ *eye roll* I was so glad to see him go all alpha Vamp in episode 11 (LLF) and rip Tejada’s throat out and just give in to the Vampire side of himself completely.
It’s interesting as well that in an interview with Alex he described the 80s party scene as a ‘blood orgy’, and went on to say how some fans could only ever see Mick for his humanity, but they had to realise he was a blood sucking vampire as well, that he did have his dark side.
And I have to admit I’m really only physically attracted to Mick when he is in full vamp face. Show me a picture of non vamped out Mick and I’ll be like ‘meh, he’s kinda cute I guess, in a milksop kinda way’ – show me a pic of a fully vamped out Mick St John, and oh yeah, I am all over THAT! 😀
And again I lament the loss of the VFA threads from MLF, if only I had the foresight to screencap at the time.

I actually did not like the vamp look that Moonlight created….Although in the later episodes they did do a better job I think!
Their eyes always looked to be hurting with those white/blue contacts. I liked the lips though…..all cracked from all the stretching…
To me it was also good when Mick did embrase himself being a vampire….exactly because it came on special occasions!!
Like when he asked/begged Josef to be re-turned!

i see Mick in a more romantic way. Marshall got my attention, then i fall for Mick and then all the lust started with Stan and still in development with Steve. Gosh! what a mess.

I actually found Marshall a bit annoying. I saw the movie long before I knew who Alex was and he did not impress me at all – just slapping his brother around the whole time.
I think if they kept the part between him and his brother that was not included in the movie, he would have caught my attention better!
The lust was there for me with Stan….but the real fever came for this dangerous creature Mick. He was denying himself pleasure, but used to have enough passion as a human, to intrigue a 400yr old Vampire like Coraline enough to drive her mad……that created a real hunger in me!

I think I may not be the first to say this *cough* CG * wink * but Steve makes me want to rip his clothes off and just f*ck until we can’t move. Then there’s beautiful Mick…be still my heart…I want him to romance me, protect me and talk to me in that sexy vamp voice that makes my panties ache. If I’m wrong CG forgive me. We just think so much alike so often 😉

Noworriesit is very rare I am the first to find something lol so I was pretty chuffed! The hubster is very supportive, although I think glad Hawaii five 0 is on hiatus when we head there end may for ten days so I cannot stalk the set lol! If you did n intense study of where he gets spotted as Alex thn I might stalk those spots lol! Kahala mall is his local shopping mall and there is diamond head cove health bar asides from that…..hmmmm worthy of intense study before end may.!

It’s a damn shame it’s not 25 years ago, my dad was a bona fide interviewer, I have an autograph book full….Sting, faye dunaway, phil collins, jennifer connelly, michael j fox, imagine if it were now I could have gone along as camera grip or something lol!

I’m an aussie, and I will be doing a phone interview with Alex eventually, at some stage. We’ve actually had the interview planned for over a year now, but various shit has happened – I got sick, Alex went on holidays, filming schedules clashed with timing, Alex’s lovely partner had a baby, and so on. It will hopefully be going ahead sometime this year when Alex’s schedule settles down. It will mainly be focused on organ donor awareness, but I have been allowed to include some fan questions as well. 🙂

And also the foreign media has quoted Michell Borth as saying the same. Is it blunders with translation or what?

I would like to know which literary character he wild like to Brin to life in a movie, and which literary character he thinks his real persona is most like. Would bemega interesting to know who he thinks HE is like. Oh and matching that, which female literary character he finds most intriguing and beguiling and attractive!

My hubster said last night our lovely Alex should play pistorius in the enviable movie of his real life…….he reckons Alex looks a lot like him ( he immediately eyerolled and added though of ourse alex is more attractive…before i could butt lol! ) and alex has shown he can do charming but dastardly roles in the past, and at least it would be edgy! Thoughts???. He (pistorius) meets th alz criteria as he is a real person!

The foreign press I can understand, because things gets lost in translation. But I feel people that meet him personally should honour his privacy or verify their facts….just my opinion

The interview is absolutely, definitely still going ahead. Alex’s publicist has assured me of this, and she keeps me up to date with any developments as to when it might be happening (hopefully sometime earlyish this year, but no guarantees.
I will be recording it, and I will be making an audio available, subject to approval. 🙂

One of the tiniest things that bothers us, is the question about Alex being in Mission Impossible II, working in the background. So if you could ask him, is it him on screen walking with a woman, and Sidney in the background (Cruise and women meet in park and kissing)? We need to know! 😀

He has already confirmed that in, it was either an interview, or when he did that talk with the rest of the H50 crew, speaking to young actors and industry hopefuls in Hawaii.

Ooooooh thanks, note it is Sydney summer scene and virtually everyone short sleeved and he long sleeved…….. to cover the tatts maybe…..? Something about the profile of his head does not look quite right but then again it is quite blurry and if he said he was in it, then it must be so!

I think it would be interesting to know if he would do another TV series after H50 or if he would rather set his career path JUST towards the big screen? And if he was willing to do TV again , what type of character would he like to play?
Honestly I’d be thrilled to hear anything he has to say about his vision for his career…and ANYTHING else he’s willing to share about himself!!

I just feel really bad for the fans who have been waiting so long for the interview to happen, but it’s one of those things that when stuff happens that’s out of your hands (on both sides) there’s not much you can do about it.
Alex’s publicist is awesome though, I’ve spoken to her a couple of times on the phone and she has the sweetest voice (I actually squee’d out loud the first time I spoke to her, after I’d hung up the phone). She’s been really good about keeping me updated and checking Alex’s schedule and all that when it comes to arranging the interview. Plus she’s been super helpful and nice with a tonne of other stuff also. Definitely a class act.
