#AlexOLoughlin – You searched for him and you got us ……

One of our fellow bloggers (Westy) started doing stories from all the searches that landed people at her blog (Westy’s Champ Box). These stories are extremely funny and real fun to read. And I must say, from what she wrote, her blog seems like one of the most interesting and fun places to visit.

If you look at our searches, it does not look like we have nearly that much fun over here :grin:, but it still warms my heart to read them in any case. One of my aims was that if anybody searches the Net for Alex O’Loughlin’s tattoos that they would get us. I am happy to see we are #1 #2 and 3#, when you do. We really hope that people who did get us, are satisfied with what they got. Most of the searchers just asked for his tattoos, while others posted the question whether they are real. A lot of people want to know what they mean and lately some wonder why they look so faded in H5-0.

Yes, his ink is definitely real, sometimes they add and sometimes they cover them for different roles. Alex have said that they all mean something to him, but that everyone needs some secrets. They look definitely more faded on the show than in real life and there can be a number of reasons for it. Wonderful question. We would also like to know?

Maybe it is good that they separate Alex and the characters he plays, in this instance Steve, from one another by changing what his body looks like in real life. He is after all not a Navy SEAL in real life and the producers might feel that the ink he has got is not necessarily suitable symbols or in good areas for someone playing the part of a military professionals.

Just something interesting I have read recently and might be a factor on why his nipple tattoo’s are covered – “Gecko’s are believed to hold supernatural powers. It was thought to bring back luck and bad omen. It was feared by most Polynesians. It is said to bring on illness.”

(Somebody asked me this very same question a while back and I have done an “intense study” to find any evidence of a nose job. I must be honest it really doesn’t look like there has been any work done on his nose. My personal observation: Alex’s nose has got this tendency to look very different in shape and in size in different light and by the angles of photo’s taken.)

Injured Steve tends to look even sexier….is that possible?

There has been a lot of confusion about Alex’s “broken”  arm. Fact is Steve did “break” his arm on an episode in Season 1 of Hawaii Five-o and they also kept the cast on him for the episode directly after that. I actually find it quite good that they do carry these kind of injuries from one episode to the next. However I do not know of any incident where he broke his arm in real life, since he has been in public life.

I think the confusion mainly started because there is also a pictures of him and a fan where he wears a cast on his arm, that was taken on the set of Hawaii Five-0.

One of the pictures I would pay real hard cash for to get my hands on, is Alex surfing.!Even better will be live action footage!! We have seen a lot of pictures of Scott surfing, but unfortunately none of Alex….maybe he is just lying about the surfing thing 😉

We did a story on the scars that are added onto Alex for his role as Steve in  Hawaii Five-0: Alex O’Loughlin the Undercover Vampire Navy SEAL

The only real scars that I know of on Alex that are regularly visible, is the tiny scar he has on the front of his right shoulder. It has been there since before FEED. The other scars visible on his body is the tiny piercing marks on his ears and brows. There also seems to be some scars on his legs…..but alas we do not get to see those legs nearly often enough to report on them…..
